Alcohol and drug addiction is one of the primary social and health issues in the United States. With the rising cases of alcohol and drug abuse or addiction, there is more demand for alcohol and drug rehabilitation or rehab centers across the states and counties in United States of America. The question however is about the treatment or rehab costs that has to be met by the patients' (drug/alcohol addicts) or their family members for undertaking these treatment programs. The price that each patient pays to receive drug treatment depends on the location of the facility, its amenities and the treatment program it offers. However, it is to be noted that the cost of luxury drug rehab programs costs much more than the standard programs run within the respective cities or states where the patient resides. The cost of rehab depends upon the type of rehab center that the concerned patients' want to choose as per their needs and budget profile. There are private drug rehab centers with high-end amenities and are providing services throughout the drug treatment program of the concerned patient. The ultra luxury and luxury (high-end amenities) drug rehab treatment centers are most expensive averaging from $20,000 to $80,000 per month. These ultra luxury drug rehab treatment centers have nail technicians, personal assistants, private nurses, nannies, gourmet chefs and massage therapists on staff. Patients usually have access to multiple works out rooms, saunas, limousine transportation and many other luxuries to make their life comfortable. The cost of these ultra luxury drug rehab treatment centers is high because of the many additional facilities that these facilities offer. On the other hand, Standard Drug Treatment Facilities cost in the range of $10,000 to $20,000 per month. Patients in these facilities have access to swimming pools and onsite gyms but these amenities are not used or advertised to attract new clients. The rooms at standard facilities are very basic and usually include a comfortable bed, television, bathroom and space for personal items and basic electronic products. The standard rehab program costs may be lower for those who do not mind sharing their room. The third type of alcohol and drug rehab centers or facilities are established for those patients who have little or no money. The first option for getting low cost treatment is to find those facilities that accept private insurance. Majority of patients (drug/alcohol addicts) with private insurance opt for outpatient treatment to save on housing and food costs. There are also Church groups, Charities and non-profit organizations that are offering free services to drug or alcohol addicted individuals. Many Churches and Charities offer sober living houses to individuals who are serious about getting off their drugs and alcohol addiction to change their lives.
